Who we are
Life in the UK Test is a practice website created to help users prepare for the Life in the UK test. This website is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the UK Government or the official Life in the UK test service.
Information we collect
You can use the mock exams without creating an account. We do not currently use a database to store your exam answers, scores, or results.
If you use the contact form, we may collect the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, subject, and message. We use that information to read, manage, and reply to your enquiry.
Exam data stored in your browser
The mock exam flow uses browser session storage to keep your active exam, selected answers, timer, review flags, and latest result available while you move between pages. This data stays in your browser and is not currently sent to our server.
How we use contact form data
We use contact form submissions to:
- respond to your question or feedback;
- investigate bugs or content issues you report;
- improve the website and mock exam experience; and
- keep a reasonable record of correspondence.
We do not sell your contact form data. We do not use it for marketing emails unless you clearly ask to receive them.
Service providers
The website is hosted on Vercel. If the contact form is connected to an email service, form submissions may be processed by that email provider so the message can be delivered. If analytics are added in future, this policy will be updated to explain what is collected and why.
Your choices
You can avoid sending personal information by not using the contact form. You can clear browser session storage through your browser settings if you want to remove local exam progress or results.
To ask a privacy question or request that contact-form correspondence is deleted, please use the contact page.
